What is the purpose of each component?

Myo-inositol intervenes in physiological processes such as the metabolism of sugars and fats and it is found in important concentrations in the fluids of the reproductive tract.
There are several studies that correlate the use of inositols with an improvement in the quality of oocytes and embryos.
Inositols have an insulin sensitizing effect.

D-Chiro-Inositol plays an important role in sugar metabolism and insulin sensitivity. It has been described in the medical literature as a good aid to maintain the physiological balance of women. It has been described that women with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) have a deficiency in the epimerase enzyme, responsible for the transformation from Myo-inositol to D-Chiro Inositol. Consequently, these women have a deficit in levels of D-Chiro-inositol. This decrease and imbalance of inositol may be related to insulin resistance. Therefore, it is important to supplement these women with the 2 isomers of inositol, at the appropriate concentrations. Its intake helps to obtain metabolic and gynecological benefits, thus facilitating the reproductive process

It is a type of vitamin of the B complex, which does not accumulate in the body, so we must receive a continuous external contribution. The adequate intake of this before and during pregnancy contributes to the growth of maternal tissues during pregnancy and to the normal metabolism of homocysteine (reduction of homocysteine levels, whose increase is related to congenital malformations and abortions).

It is a hormone that is found naturally in the reproductive system. Its synthesis varies throughout the 24-hour cycle. Melatonin levels decline with age, and it is greatly decreased in women with PCOS. It is a broad spectrum antioxidant that helps prevent the formation of ROS (“Reactive Oxygen Species”). This antioxidant action reduces intrafollicular oxidative damage, thereby helping with the quality of the oocytes and their maturation.

It is an essential trace element, which must be ingested with the diet. The body only needs it in small amounts. Its main function is to contribute to the production of antioxidant enzymes. Lower levels of selenium in follicular fluid can help to have a higher rate of infertility.

Vitamin D deficiency is very common in women of reproductive age. It contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system and the process of cell division.

The vagina is a delicate ecosystem, where lactobacilli produce lactic acid, and hydrogen peroxide, in order to protect against infections from other microorganisms.

There are studies that suggest that the predominance of the genus Lactobacillus (≥90%) in the endometrium is correlated with a higher pregnancy rate. Whereas, the non-predominance of the genus Lactobacillus has a direct correlation with abortions and with the impossibility of achieving a pregnancy.

Several studies study the connection between the imbalance of the intestinal microbiota and PCOS. This imbalance could be related to hyperandrogenism and hirsutism.
Lactobacillus plantarum
Avoid colonization by E.coli, since it does not allow its growth and displaces its colonies from the mucosa.

Lactobaciluus rhamnosus
It competes with other opportunistic microorganisms. It is recommended to restore the physiological vaginal microflora, preventing recurrent vaginal infections that can interfere with the reproductive capacity of women.

Lactobacillus crispatus
It is dominant in the vaginal mucosa, helps to maintain its health and to generate an essential barrier that contributes to the normal process of reproduction, as well as to prevent the development of sexual infections.
