What is each component for?

It is an essential polyunsaturated fatty acid of the omega-3 series.

Maternal intake of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) contributes to normal eye and brain development in the fetus and breastfed infant. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 200 mg of DHA in addition to the recommended daily intake of omega-3 fatty acids for adults, i.e. 250 mg of DHA and EPA.

It is a water-soluble vitamin necessary for the formation of structural proteins and hemoglobin.

Its great importance lies in the fact that folic acid is essential at the cellular level to synthesize DNA, and the RNA necessary to form proteins, tissues and other cellular processes.

Adequate intake of this before and during pregnancy contributes to the growth of maternal tissues during pregnancy and the normal metabolism of homocysteine ​​(reduction in homocysteine ​​levels, the increase of which is related to congenital malformations and abortions).
